Pearl was born in Regina Saskatchewan. Her family soon moved to the Preeceville, SK area. They spent a few years there then moved the Chamberlain SK.  There Pearl’s dad had a blacksmith shop. Pearl kept the books in order for him. She also worked at the local grocery store. This is where she met Cecil; They married in July 1949 in Craik SK. They moved to the farm near Aylesbury SK. There they raised two children. In 1975 they sold the farm and brought a truck and trailer. They spent their summer fishing and travelling.

They travelled to Texas and Arizona to enjoy the winter. They settled in Craik where they enjoyed birthday parties and dances and many other activities.

Pearl was an avid gardener. Her pet peeve was dandelions. She would see one and have to pick it.

In 2013 after Cecil passed away, she moved in with her daughter and son-in law. Pearl helped with the garden in the summer and enjoyed knitting in the winter.

In June 2023, they pulled up stakes and moved to Crystal City to be closer to family.

In January 2024, Pearl moved into Prairie View Lodge where she really enjoyed her time there.
