James Harvey Matthew Conway, age 85, passed away with family beside him on Tuesday October 17th, 2017 at the Boissevain Health Services Center  in Boissevain Manitoba. Harvey was born March 21,1932, in the Harrison Muncipality, Manitoba  to James Henry Robert Conway and Gladys Rose Lilly.

He attended Marsden #1 School in the turtle mountains. He married Myrtle Eileen Nelson on July 13 1956 and had one child Janet Elaine.

Harvey was never happier than when he was caring for his farm and the animals he raised on it. He worked for many years for the provincial parks department, he was proud to have helped plant thousands of trees at Shilo and help build the manmade lake called Adam. He always farmed in the Metigoshe area as well as helping other farmers on their land. Raised a couple miles from the farm he eventually bought he visited Alberta now and then but his heart was always here.

Harvey has 7 brothers and sisters Frank (Doreen), Everett (Loraine), Larry(Colleen), Gloria, and Myles(Bonnie) brother in law John and sister in law Darlene and was predeceased by Sheridan(Donna) and Patsy.

Surviving him is his daughter Janet (Patrick), and her children James (Karen), Micheal and Shane Paige (Patrick) Samantha (David) and Donald.  Great Grandchildren Damian, Payton, Tristan, Hunter, Jasmine, Katherine, and Jennifer.  Great Great Grandchildren Yor-dann and Krystall.

Harvey leaves behind multiple nieces and nephews many of which him and Myrtle often felt were more like daughters and sons. He was very close to his cousins and their families. His neighbours often filled his heart with their help and caring.

He sang in the choir when he was young and never stopped singing the rest of his life. You could always hear him singing around the table with family. He cared about people and was always asking about someone.
