Dear Irene and family.
You probably don't recognize the name. Your Mom and my Dad were first cousins. His mother was Mary, a sister to your grandfather Alex. I'm 62, left Mitchell 40 yrs ago, and am now retired F'ton NB. My dad (Darrell) passed in 2011, and I now poccess many old photo albums etc of the James'. I subscribe to the Mitch Advocate (always a few wks late); hence the obituary discovery. Your description of your Mom's growing up in Staffa, evoked equal fond memories of the James', anecdotes passed down from my own father, grandmother, aunts/uncles. I believe Dad and your Uncle Phillip were close chums throughout. My condolences Irene. I am grateful you included in the Mitch Advocate. I had somewhat forgotten about the Killarney connection (we visited your farm once, mid 60s). Perhaps sometime down the road, you could email me, as I am suspecting you too share an interest in our mutual genealogy. In the interim, my thoughts are with you. Sincerely, Randy.

I have such fond memories of Wilma and your family during her stay in Bayside. She always had a smile, spoke about her memories of Ontario, and certainly loved the colour green! I really enjoyed looking at her photo albums with her and all the stories she would tell. She had a very special place in my heart and I send all my love to your family.
