Addison is so lovingly remembered by her awesome parents Jodie and Randy, her brother Ethan and her sister Quinn of Swan Lake, by her grandparents Jay and Trudy Leary of Swan Lake and Ubald and Beverley Desrochers of Mariapolis, her very cool Aunt Raelene Desrochers of Swan Lake and her great-grandmother Annie Hildebrand of Pilot Mound. Addison is also remembered by her fearless, favorite Uncle Jayson (Sherry), Brandon (Kaylee), Sadie and Alexis, her special and similarly headstrong Aunt Brenna (Deena), Bodie and her boyfriend Zadyn Simard.

She is survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins and will certainly be missed by all.

She was predeceased by grandparents George and Hazel Missere of Kindersley, Saskatchewan, Jim and Shirley Leary of Kindersley, Saskatchewan and Alcide and Germaine Desrochers of Mariapolis, and Peter Hildebrand of Pilot Mound.

Adi had such a fondness for animals. She loved her new puppy which she named Oliver Jayde James Johnson Junior and her beloved horse Jessers, which she spent countless hours with. She certainly had a creative flair for pet names. She also had a pet fish called “Bubble Slayer”.

Adi attended school at PMHS in Somerset where she managed to leave her special imprint on everyone from her classmates to the staff. She had numerous friends and classmates that will miss her bubbly personality. Her future goals included attending University of Manitoba to earn a psychology degree and start her own Equine Therapy program. The continuous joke was that Adi and her mom would probably end up attending University together in our little 2 toned lime green VW bug, which made her consider other Universities.

Addison loved to spend time with family and friends and was so excited for family gatherings. She would chat with everyone and tell us stories that were probably a little (a lot) exaggerated. She had a very special “gift of the gab”. She loved to talk to people, young and old alike. She had a friendly outgoing nature that could light up a room. She was headstrong, determined and could usually get her way. She couldn’t think of more things to do and always included us in all these great ideas. The ideas were endless and we spent countless hours fulfilling her wishes. We are so glad now that we did; she was “our” girl and was so loved. She will be treasured always. We are going to miss this girl so much. She has been a little firecracker since the day she took her first steps and she kept all of us on our toes with that spirited stubborn nature.

The family would like to thank everyone for the support we have received from family and friends. We have such good friends in our little communities and their support has been truly overwhelming.

A special thank you to local Firefighters, EMS and Killarney RCMP.
