She is survived by sons Bruce (Nancy), Jim (Candy), daughter Barb and their families.

Rock Lake Hospital

Crystal City, Manitoba

 

Cremation has taken place 

and a private service will 

be held at a later date.

Darlene Louise Delorme (Lamb)
Born on November 14,1941 at Crystal City MB. Passed away at the age of 82 on November 26, 2023 at Rock Lake hospital.
Darlene was predeceased by her husband (Ted), her parents (Jack and Gladys) and her brother (Joe). She leaves to mourn her three children Bruce (Nancy), Jim (Candy) and Barb. Her grandchildren Ryan (Karmen), Brittney (Mitch), Brandon, Amanda and MaryAnn. Her great-grandchildren Liam, Silas, Anakin, Asher, Parker, and Maddox. Her brothers Mervin (Carol), Barry (Janice), and Kenney (Irene). Her sisters Fran Pearson, Dianne (Ray) Foster, Marilyn (Omar) Shepell, Karen Green and Kathy (Charlie) Nelson. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Sister in laws. Mildred Dunn, Velma (Allan) Dunn and Helen Delorme.

Darlene resided on the family farm near Pilot Mound up until this spring. After a short stay in hospital she moved into a suite at Prairie View Lodge than spent the last few months at Rock Lake Hospital.

Her passions were gardening, picking berries, reading, crosswords, jigsaw puzzles and carving classes.
She enjoyed visiting family, friends and neighbors and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Her favorite past times were sitting in her rocker drinking tea on the step, nature walks, helping gather fire wood, listening to old time music, watching the Blue Jays, curling and playing cribbage.

Cremation has taken place and a private service will be held at a later date.

Thank-you to Wheatland Funeral Services. Thank-you to family, friends and neighbors who visited, sent flowers and well wishes. Special thank-you to Doctors, nurses and staff at Rock Lake Hospital.
