Delores Lynn Mason (nee Davis)
June 6, 1946 ~ June 22, 2025

Delores passed away on June 22nd 2025 after a courageous battle with kidney disease. 

Delores Lynne Davis was born to Carol and Doris Davis of Cartwright, Manitoba on June 6, 1946. Delores was a sister to Johnathan, Carol, Willy and Marilyn. She was an aunt to their 7 combined children. She was also an aunt to 14 nieces and nephews on the Mason side of the family. 

Delores was married in 1964 to Lawrence Charles Mason of Killarney. They eventually settled down on “the farm” northeast of Killarney where they lived for 49 years and raised 4 children: Robert, Debbie, Dennis and Tanya; All the while holding down a job. Delores worked for over 35 years at the Royal Canadian Legion - Branch #25 in Killarney. 

While working, Delores also kept very busy with several extra curricular activities. She loved to knit, bake (was she ever good at it!), read, travel, volunteer and play cards. As an active member of the Legion, she often assisted with Bingo, Chase the Ace, Meat Draws and Cribbage tournaments. 

Delores was also a member of the Killarney Elks club, where she soon rose to the title of Grand Exalter Leader and held that position until the club dissolved in the early 2020s. She also acted as the chief financial officer of the Derby Lorne Ladies group for many years until the group folded. 

Delores is survived by her children: Robert (Calgary, AB), Debbie (Brandon, MB), Dennis (Dartmouth, NS), and Tanya (Victoria, BC); her sisters Marilyn (Whitehorse, YK), Carol (Whitehorse, YK), and brother Willy “Roy” (Yorkton, SK). Delores has 10 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren spread across Canada.
