He is lovingly remembered by his wife Marianne,  his sons Glen (Marlene), and Kerry (Mona), grandchildren Rheagan (Dan Stewart),
Trevor (Mandy), Troy (Genny), Dennis (Kaylee), 
Bradley (Breanne), and Derek (Brooklyn), 
as well as great grandchildren 
Emmet, Blakley, Isla, and Paige.

An private graveside service will take place at the Crystal City Cemetery.

Edward Jacob Schott was born June 20, 1924 to Albert and Helena (Tiechreb) Schott south of Morden.  Attended school in Mountain City School.  The family moved to a farm at Rosebank where he helped his father farm and also worked for other farmers in the area.  

On June 10, 1950 he was married to Marianne Martens of Morden.  They moved to Crystal City where they started farming.

Four sons were born to this union. He joined the CCMC upon confession of faith in 1975.  

In 1984 they retired to town but farming was still his interest so for many years went to help with what he could.

Predeceased by his parents, 4 brothers, 3 sisters, 2 sons (Randall & Robert), 1 grandson Kevin.

Survived by two sons Glen (Marlene) and Kerry (Mona), 5 grandsons, and 1 granddaughter ~ Rheagan (Dan Stewart), Trevor (Mandy), Troy, Dennis (Kaylee), Bradley, Derek. 

Great grandchildren Emmet, Blakley, Isla, & Paige as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
