LAMB-ZINCK: Glenda Sharon (nee Mudge). Peacefully on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at the Tri-Lake
Health Centre in Killarney, MB, Glenda Lamb-Zinck passed away at the age of 80 years. Glenda was born
in Crystal City, MB and grew up in Mather, MB. After graduation, Glenda took her health care aide
training in Crystal City and worked mainly at the Lions Prairie Manor in Portage la Prairie and Bayside
Manor in Killarney where she retired from in 1997. In 1961, Glenda married Cyril Cooper and they had 3
daughters. In 1967, she became widowed and in 1970 married James Zinck and they had one son.
Glenda had different hobbies over the years such as flower arranging, golfing but was best known for
her baking/cooking. Her apple pies were the best! Growing up in a musical family, Glenda also loved to
dance and sing and instilled this love of music into her children. In 2021, Glenda moved from Brandon
to Lakeview Gardens in Killarney where she enjoyed having her son and friend come to musically
entertain the residents and the staff that were like family. Glenda is lovingly remembered by her 4
children, daughters Jo-Anne (Kendall), Melanie (Dennis), Sheila (Darcy) and son, Jamie; 5 bonus
daughters - Pat, Terry, Susan, Sandra and Greta; 10 grandchildren -Jillian, Brittney, Jesse, Taylor, Bradey,
Connor, Danielle, Trevan, Brendan and Jett; 5 great-grandchildren - Theran, Grayden, Chase, Remi and
Reign; sisters Gaye Sutherland and Dawn Lamb; sisters-in law Sandra Cooper and Millie Mudge and
brother-in-law Lee Box; along with numerous extended family and friends.
