Grant was born Aug 24, 1954 in Crystal City, MB, grew up on family farm & attended school in Glenora,
Marringhurst, Pilot Mound High and obtained his Diesel Mechanic License at Red River Community College.
He worked at Mazur Equipment in Brandon, Pilot Mound Farm Machinery Co-op, G. Sterling Implements in

Grant had many good friends all around the province. He enjoyed spending time with them while playing
Belgian Bowling, Bein (cards) and darts at La Broquerie Hotel. Grant lived in La Broquerie for the last 19 years
and really enjoyed living there. Grant was an avid reader and had a terrific memory which benefited him & his
many farm equipment parts customers with whom he had special friendships and for whom he worked
extremely hard to ensure they were looked after!
As per family wishes, there will be a private internment service in Pilot Mound due to the current COVID
status, with a Celebration of Life event this summer, COVID permitting.
