Jeffery Robert Middleton was born in Brandon, MB on January 3, 1954. He was the son of Bob and Dot Middleton, and brother to Karen. As a youngster, living by the lake, Jeff spent his summers swimming, catching frogs and snakes and other various critters. He was never still, nor out of his bathing suit. As he grew up, Jeff enjoyed all sports. He joined the Killarney Shamrocks at a young age. He was noted for pitching a “no hitter” at a baseball tournament in Rivers, MB. He also played some golf, football and loved challenging his grandpa Earl to an odd pool game when the opportunity arose. After high school in Killarney, Jeff briefly took over his dad’s retail business, “Bob’s Clothing”, but found brick work and travel more to his liking. Jeff saw many countries during his travels and left a girl in every port. Jeff was loved by the ladies and mom remembers even kindergarten, he was quite popular. Jeff survived three marriages and as he said, he was a lone wolf and not meant to be tied down. Jeff had a sarcastic wit and quick temper which sometimes got him into trouble. He marched to his own drummer, and was very stubborn.  Jeff loved animals and became known as the possum catcher at his residence in Texas. He also was known to feed a stray tom cat who appeared at his door. Jeff was in ill health for the past two years and struggled so much. We, as a family are relieved he is no longer suffering, May you be at peace now Jeff. You are home.
