Ken was born on February 14th, 1952 in Crystal City.  He grew up on a farm near Fallison, and in 1961 the family moved to Holmfield.  He married the love of his life Lois Olfrey on June 19, 1976.  Ken raised his family in Killarney, Brandon, and Cartwright, before relocating back to Brandon in 2005.  While in Brandon Ken built their dream home, a home for Shawn and Heather, as well as taking on numerous other building projects.

Ken returned to his farming roots starting Reimer Saskatoons with his son Shawn, north of Brandon.  Ken and Lois retired to Cartwright in September of 2024 where he lived until his passing.  The family would like to thank Tri-Lake Health Centre for their wonderful care during Ken’s final weeks.
