Kenneth Foster Robbins, 77, of Rock Lake, MB. passed away peacefully in his home on Friday, September 15, 2023 with Bonnie by his side.  Ken was born on November 26, 1945 at Crystal City, MB. to Stan and Ruth Robbins [Hagyard}.  He grew up on the family farm in Londsboro, MB., along with his siblings Donna, Lois and Bob.  In 1979, he married Bonnie and together they lived on the family farm until they moved to the lake in 2013.  Over the years, Ken and Bonnie had various interests and hobbies from raising ostriches to restoring vintage cars.  They also did numerous welding projects and operated a steel business on the farm.  In 1977 Ken started working at Holiday Mountain Ski Resort.  A seasonal job that lasted 40 years.  During those years Ken made many lifelong friends.  Many parents left their kids at the hill for the day telling them “if you need anything go see Ken”.  How many quarters he handed out for phone calls to Mom or money for a burger.  He was the face of Holiday Mountain.  In Ken’s later years, he and Bonnie enjoyed making live-edge wood projects, junkyard art and an assortment of unique birdhouses.  Family and friends meant a lot to Ken.  He loved to visit.  Ken especially enjoyed our supper club family.

Ken is lovingly survived by his wife Bonnie of 43 years, siblings Lois (Tom) and Bob (Wendy), brother-in-law John (Rita), children Jeff (Paula), Kim (Ron) and step-children Todd and Marcie (Trevor).  Ken is also survived by his grandchildren Olivia (Spencer), Tyson (Lexi), Scott (Shelby), Chloe, Logan, Sophia, Keenan (Trisha), Connor, Aiden and Chloe (Matthew), as well as his great-grandchildren Sofia, Oaklan, Auldin and baby girl Shaw arriving any day.  Along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other extended family, friends and, of course, his faithful cat Oscar.

Ken was predeceased by his parents Ruth and Stan and his sister Donna and several special aunts, uncles and cousins.
