Lloyd Lobb, 90, passed away unexpectedly on August 14 at the Tri-Lake Health Centre in Killarney, Manitoba, surrounded by his family. Lloyd is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Lorraine, son Todd (Nancy) and daughter Lisa (Rob), sister Jeanette Donnelly, and many nieces and nephews. Lloyd was born in Neepawa, Manitoba, in 1932 to Thomas and Stella Lobb. He grew up on the family farm in Helston, Manitoba, where he farmed for several years. In 1974, he acquired his Power Engineer Certificate from Red River Community College and worked as a third class power engineer until his retirement. In 1996, Lloyd and Lorraine move to Ninette, Manitoba, to enjoy their golden years. Lloyd loved the outdoors, enjoying camping, fishing and hunting. He spent many hours puttering in his shop and working in the yard. He also loved to chat and visit with friends and family, where he was known to tell a story or two. Family was always important to Lloyd. He will be forever loved and forever remembered. The family would like to thank the staff at the Tri-Lake Health Centre for their care and compassion during this difficult time.
A private family gathering to follow at a later date.
