Linda set sail for the great beyond when her stateroom cabin was made ready for her.  Left to wish her “Bon Voyage” from this shore is her husband Alan Ransom. Alan and Linda shared over 57 years of adventures with their love and respect guiding them through the calm and the storms of a life well lived.

Mom will be lovingly remembered for her cleaning day live performances. It was not uncommon to be roused from our Saturday morning slumber to the soundtrack of Jesus Christ Superstar blasting on the record player followed by Mom singing over the noise of the vacuum.

Laughing until your cheeks were sore and your ribs ached was the price of admission to Mom’s circus. She certainly was the ringleader. The best feeling in the world was making Mom laugh with a smart-ass comment or a quick-witted joke.

Sunday suppers of roast beef, gravy and Yorkshire pudding were as dependable as the sun rising and falling. The pans were seasoned to perfection and the recipe of “just a little of this and a bit of that” resulted in the best Yorkshire puddings. No one will every be able to make them like Mom.

Alan, Rick (Dana) Ransom; Kim (Ken) Rickard; Ann Ransom (Marc Dandeneau) and Neil (Rachel) Ransom thank all who have shared stories, well wishes and care for our family. Although the ringleader has retired her top hat, her circus will continue on with her grandchildren and great grand children with whom she imparted her love and instilled her sense of humor and mischievousness.

“Love you more than you will every know.”
