Margaret Louise Arde (Bussman) was born November 14, 1936 to Herman and Bertha Bussman. She grew up in Deloraine area with her three brothers, Ben, Albert and Bob. On April 11, 1955 she married Russell Arde and began their life together on a farm in the RM District of Winchester. Farm life agreed with Russell and Margaret and in 1961 they bought and moved to their farm at Strathallen and continued to raise their family. They had 7 children. Elaine (Ron) Groening; Kristan, Karlyn, Kayley: Wayne (Jeri) Arde; Tramayne, Tristin, Tarla, Torrie, Tangee: Robert (Sue) Arde; Michael, Dustyn, Shadow: Brenda (Leonard) Wiebe; Jamie, Corisa, Codie, Cally: Debbie (Ron) Wall; Mitchell, Courtney: David (Mary) Arde; Jeremy, Brooke, Nathan, Carson, Hunter: Penny Arde; Alex, Nicole, Natasha: and respective families. Family played an important part in Margaret's life and many family gatherings and celebrations were held at their place. Many cups of coffee and card games were played late into the night! Margaret loved gardening, knitting, crocheting, sewing and baking. She would share her knowledge with anyone who showed an interest and taught many of her grandchildren sewing, baking and gardening skills! Margaret enjoyed people and all were made welcome to sit at the table with a cup of coffee and share their journeys, or troubles, as well as lots of laughter! Road trips to the casino was also an added enjoyment! Margaret passed away on November 10, 2020. Left with her treasured memories is her husband Russell, 7 children and their spouses, 27 grandchildren and their respective families, 38 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and people she called “friends”.
