It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mother, Mary Dyck, on January 17, 2023. Mom passed away peacefully at the Tri Lake Health Centre surrounded by her family.
She was pre-deceased by her husband John and grandson Graeme Witherspoon.
Mary will be deeply missed by all her family: children Reg (Della), Wes (Julie), Carol (Mark) and Gayle; grandchildren Mike (Glenda), Matt (Lisa), Mitchell (Jodie- Rae), Lindsay (Jose), Jenifer (Jim), Kimberley (Harbir), Kayla, Tyrell (Matthew); great-grandchildren Jase, Collyns, Greysi, Bella, Sydney, Alexa, Joel, Luke, Silas, Carter, Ethan and Ava.
Mom and dad were married on September 12, 1954 in Winkler. She worked along side dad on the family farm and enjoyed her time as a nurse for 18 years at Pelican Lake Training Centre in Ninette.
Mom's deep faith was evident through her love for the Lord, her desire to serve others, and her giving spirit. Her greatest passions were her flower gardens, music and grandchildren. She prayed daily for each family member by name. She was known for her generous hospitality... where many came as friends but left as family. Many hours were spent around the kitchen table, with good food, lots of laughter and games of "friendly" competition. Mom was never good at keeping secrets... and we NEVER had to guess what she was thinking.
Mom has left this earth to be reunited with our Lord and her one and only John J. Dyck.
