Sherri Barbour (Goertz)
Sherri was born Jan 19, 1962, in Moose Jaw, SK to Stephen and Jean Goertz. She was raised in Estevan SK and in June of 1988 she married Stuart Barbour of Macoun, SK.  Stuart and Sherri had two sons: Ryan (1992) and Travis (1995). Sherri worked as a bank teller at the CIBC in Estevan until she retired in 2003 when Stuart’s work took the family to Lloydminster, AB.  Sherri and Stuart later moved to Pilot Mound, MB after Stuart retired from the oilfield. 

Sherri enjoyed camping and quadding with family and friends and planting and caring for flowers. She enjoyed watching hockey, especially cheering for her boys when they played. The family took many camping trips around western Canada over the years. 

In 2019 Sherri was diagnosed with lung cancer and she fought a courageous battle.
The Family is very appreciative of the care Sherri received from Cancer Care, Home Care and Palliative Care of Manitoba Southern Region.
