Stanley Eldred (S.E.) Dagg was born June 9, 1937 in Killarney, Manitoba to Maurice and Phyliss Dagg. Stan and his older sister Elaine (Lamb) grew up on the family farm, and rode their horses to Jaques School. Around the age of 16, Stan headed west to find work. He worked several jobs including the railways until he headed east where he was hired with Ontario Hydro in 1959. While working in Cochrane for Ontario Hydro, he met Lorraine Eaton. They were married in January of 1961 and resided in Kapuskasing.
It was there they had their first 3 children: Debbie, Danny and Diane.
In 1965 Stan, Lorraine and family returned to Killarney to take over the Dagg family farm. In September of 1966, Donna was born.
Stan was a proud member of the Elks Lodge, the Royal Canadian Legion and enjoyed curling and supporting his community in his spare time.
Stan and Lorraine were avid travellers and had many wonderful trips including Hawaii, Cuba, Alaska, Ireland and Scotland, as well as throughout the United States and Canada.
In the spring of 1998, they sold the farm and retired into Killarney.
Stan is survived by his wife Lorraine, his children Debbie, Dan (Celine), Diane (Dale), and Donna (Scott). His grandchildren, Michael (Debbie), Lacey and Brittany (Dan), Brooke and Kyleigh (Diane), Cheyenne and McCullough (Donna); and his great-grandchildren Charley, Blake, Kyla and Hayden.
Also survived by his sister Elaine (Arthur) Lamb and many nieces and nephews, and their families.
