On Thursday April 27th, 2023 at the age of 84 Tom passed away peacefully at the Boissevain Health Centre. 

Tom was born in Lundar, MB and moved to Selkirk, MB in 1950 where he raised his family and had a successful forty year career with MTS.  He was very involved with sports and enjoyed coaching hockey and baseball.  His passions included watching both the Toronto Maple Leafs and Blue Jays, he also enjoyed the odd trip to the casino.  He moved to Boissevain in 1999 and spent the rest of his life there. 

Tom was predeceased by his parents Norman and Sigga as well as his brother Doug and George.  He is survived by his former wife Marian, sons Darcy and Doug (Vicky), grandsons Tyler (Kaylee), Mitchell, Ryan and great grandchildren Everly and Taya.  Tom is also survived by siblings Cliff (Isabel), Norma (Jeff), Jim (Dorothy) and sister-in-law Jean.  

Tom was cremated as per his request and a private graveside service will be held at a later date. 

Our family would like to express our sincere gratitude towards Dr. Nell and the nursing staff at the Boissevain Health Centre for providing compassionate care throughout Tom's entire stay.
