Verna Elizabeth Margetts passed away peacefully in her home on December 30, 2025 at the age of 63.
Verna grew up in Wellwood, MB with her parents Sheldon and Elizabeth Strain and siblings Jake, Larry and Wes.  
In December of 1980, Verna married Gordon Margetts.  Together they moved to Cartwright, MB and raised their three children Jennifer, Devon and Darcy.
She is predeceased by her parents and later by her husband in 2007.  Verna became a pillar in her family.  She gave them unconditional love                                                  and support and was loved equally in return.  
She is survived by her siblings, children and grandchildren Rain, Penny, Junah, Lily, and Noah.  She will be greatly missed and forever loved.
