On Monday July 8, 2019 Wayne Henderson passed away peacefully at Prairie View Lodge, Pilot Mound MB at the age of 73.
Donald Wayne Henderson was born on January 6, 1946 to Donald and Jean (McConkey, Lindley).
Wayne started work at a young age of 16 with working in the Crystal City seed plant for Allan Beavis, this began his working career and he moved on to work in Thompson in the smelter refinery. After 2 years and missing the love for the country life Uncle Wayne moved back to Crystal City and worked in the tire shop before farming with his brother Dalton and Uncle Ian for 11 years. He also worked with Jim Barron spraying and with various farm work.
Adventure took him to Lac du Bonnet for a few years to work in the cement/construction industry before his final job with Piston Ring.
Uncle Wayne decided there was no better place to retire than his hometown and he moved back to Crystal City.
Wayne was predeceased by his father Donald, Mother Jean, brothers Eddie, Grant and sister Lorraine. He is survived by his brother Dalton, sister Lana Struc, Nephews: Duane (Colleen), Perry (Tara), Brandan Struc and many great Nieces and Nephews.
