As children our families were neighbours out in the county by Menzie , Mb. We had many a get together as well as I went to school with her and her sister Jean . There are a lot of childhood memories of days gone by. At this difficult time , may you draw comfort from cherished memories. Extending deepest sympathy to her family.

I first met Heather when Kim came into my classroom at Green Acres School. Over the years, whenever we met, we would have a chat and do a catch-up on family and times past. I send my sincere sympathy for your loss.

The Gerrard's lived next to our property near Menzie. We went to school together. Many fun times were had as children. My parents relocated to Victoria BC and Heather's parents made a visit to the Island where we recalled all the happy days gone by. Sad to hear about the loss and will have fond memories of Heather. May the memories give her family comfort in the days ahead.

I met her at the wedding of Dennis Kawa ... about 1964
She was an attractive young redheaded Scottish lassie
Met TAB and Heather a few times later in Brandon
Until we left in 2010

Dear Tab:
Although I have been expecting this news for sometime I am still deeply saddened to learn of Heather's passing. She was a wonderful lady and I will miss seeing her at the lake. She sure gave it a valiant struggle and is one strong gal. Tab may all the beautiful memories of Heather help in the time of darkness and sadness ahead. Lyle and I send our deepest condolences and hopefully will see u at the lake next year.
