I was deeply saddened to hear of Shirley's passing. We old school friends- Faye Dann Kinley, Loretta Harlow, Shirley and I had such a great visit last winter in Texas.

Years ago when I was born and raised in Napinka, I became friends with Shirley and her family as her grand-parents lived there too. We always had a good time when they came to town and Shirley and her family had me come and stay a week-end or two at her home, and I would travel with a family friend of my Dad's on a freight train in the caboose back and forth. I will never forget the fun times we had. So very sorry to hear of her passing and my sincerest condolences to her family. She won't be forgotten in my books, that's for sure.
